                              STANDING AT STUD
Town & Country's Bob Cat,   ASPC #140573B

(see below) is a true black registered Modern Shetland stallion of small stature that foaled on 05/03/1992 in Wisconsin at the MH Ranch, Inc.  Bobby was shown nationally in roadster in 1995 and placed 1st in Open Roadster Under, 3rd in Junior Roadster and 10th in Junior Exhibitor Roadster.  He is a son of the 5 time World Grand Champion and Hall Of Famer, "Georgetown's Tom Cat", ASPC #134488A.   His dam is: "Just Amy" : ASPC# 137111B.

Bobby's sire, "Georgetown's Tom Cat
(Classic & a paint)  has been one of the most prolific stallions in the Shetland world today.  Bob Cat has also produced quality driving offspring that are currently being shown as Registered Shetlands or National Show Ponies.

Bob Cat is a quiet stallion, gentle in nature and was a herd sire at a Shetland farm in New Hampshire and at Goose Landing Farm in Ct before that.  Today he resides here at a very small family farm in southern Vermont near the Massachusetts and New Hampshire borders.

Town & Country's Bob Cat is standing at stud to a limited number of approved mares (registered & grade) for upcoming seasons.  Grade mares bred to a registered Shetland can be registered as a National Show Pony with the ASPC registry with a height limit requirement and the stud breeding paperwork and DNA sample provided.  Classic or Foundation Shetlands mares bred to Bob Cat would produce a Classic foal and Modern Shetlands would produce a Modern foal.

See some photos of Town & Country's Bob Cat in June of 2005 on his page..  Bob lost his L eye due to a paddock accident in Oct 2006, but it does not affect him at all.

Stud fees:     Registered Shetland mares:  $300.00 / LFG;
                    Approved Grade Mares:  $250.00 / LFG
                    (Plus Daily Mare Care & $25.00 Booking Fee)

MARES: We are the proud owner of these following mares:
Blue Chip's Betsy VB, ASPC # 134367A "Betsy" has been with us since 1998.  She is a two time National Champion Classic Mare (1984 & 1985).  (She will be re-registered as a Foundation Classic.  Since owning her, we had only bred "Betsy" one time previously to our now deceased stallion, "Magic Flash", ASPC #128553A, a son of the famous 3 time National Champion "Fernwood Meteor Magic", ASPC #87017A. Betsy and "Magic" produced a filly "Molly" (see below)
The colt has arrived!  Betsy & Bob Cat's colt, "Sammy" was born May 14th!  He is seal brown with a bit of white on his left R above the coronet band and a bit on the front above the coronet also.   What a dynamic combination!  This colt with his dynamic and rare old breeding lines on both paternal sides may stand at stud here in two years and will be registered shortly as a Classic.  He may also be considered for sale to an approved show home or for a breeding prospect.  Serious inquiries only.

Betsy's Blue Majic Meteor S H, ASPC #146988    "Molly" will be re-registered as a Foundation Shetland. "Molly" will be bred this Spring to our stallion Bob Cat.  With these bloodlines, we hopefully look forward to this foal!  See Molly's sire, "Magic Flash" phenomial pedigree on her page.

September Midnight Sasha", ASPC #139135A "Sasha", Betsy's other daughter, also resides at the farm and has been with Betsy since she foaled in 1987.  She will also be re-registered as a Foundation Classic.  Sasha's sire was "Flying W Farms Silverlight", ASPC # 133927, (now deceased) the National Reserve Champion Stallion in 1984 and Betsy's stablemate at Flying W Farms.  Sasha is being bred to Bob Cat this Spring hopefully for a 2009 foal.
